As we enter the home stretch of the summer construction internship, we can't help but be so thankful for the opportunity to work with the youth.

Every day they invite us into their lives a little more, sharing more of their stories and laughs. Working alongside them allows us to flow on the same level, as a team, as one.

With only a few weeks left and a big To-Do list, we're eager to see their dedication and discipline be put to the test. We hope this summer is the start to being able to equip the youth of Des Moines with practical skills to carry on with a new pride in themselves.
